A leisurely 28 with 1300 feet climbing. 16.3 Average with top speed of 43. The best thing was not feeling tired/beat after the ride but content.

30 miles in the 100F heat, at least for a little while

rsbob 10-02-20 08:55 PM

32 with the Mrs on her E bike (Specialized Como). She can really haul a** on that thing, on low speed (pedal assist) especially on hill climbs. I am a decent climber, but I have to struggle to keep up. A tow rope may be in order, or let some air out of her tires.

Troul 10-03-20 04:21 PM

42 milles was 34°F

ultrarider7 10-03-20 05:47 PM

40.47 miles with 1,365 feet in gain. Set out to go further, but the temps dropped to the mid-40's and I wasn't dressed for that cold this early in the year.

Leaves turning color? Cold weather? This St. Paul, MN must be a place that has those "season" things. I read about those in a book, once.

While I'm glad we don't have seasons here, it sure does look pretty.

Oh I know it, I've been to Lambeau Field in the winter.

And my dad's family is from South Dakota.

I was born and raised in SoCal. I didn't see snow fall until I was in my 20's.

My longest ride this week was only 32 miles 1800 feet of ascent. However my total for the week is 170 miles with 9400 feet of ascent. So kinda happy about that.

Short 20 miler today under gray skies on wet roads. 18.6 MPH Ave speed, 960 feet of climbing. A weenie ride but it felt good.

Rode up the Middle Fork along the river with gorgeous views of mtn peaks surrounding me. Temp was 62* but was not noticeable since I needed to get home to get one of my animals to the vet. Total distance, 39.85 with an average speed of 18.82 MPH with no climbing to speak of (600’). So darned close to 19! Next time.
