Yeah, that's rough.
We're about 10° cooler than you it looks like. It's not quite warming up like what was forecast though :( I was thinking about trying to break 50 miles for the first time this year but I think that may need to wait for tomorrow. |

Dang! More rough news.
My older brother and I were talking about this a few days ago. It’s a good time to be retired with so many people around us struggling with their future. |

If we make 52°, it’s going to be late in the day because it’s only 37° now at almost noon.

I've got to say, working at a place that supplies parts for government contracts is a huge pain a lot of the time, but it's certainly making things easier right now. I feel very very fortunate that not a lot has changed for me.

Speaking of reply to all, we received one of those from a gal fortunate enough to be able to work at home from the onset. She was wondering who was going to pay for all of her cleaning and disinfecting supplies she was using while at home. I wanted to reach through the monitor, and drag her ass straight to reality.

Same here, except being a very tiny and almost insignificant cog inside a soul-crushing megabank. However, stable, upper-middle-class employment for the past decade and a half. Which is also "since I graduated college". I hope I keep the perspective to never complain again.
It might not be exciting, but it would be stable. Most of the time I love working in a small company, but I do entertain the idea of getting myself in to a bigger company for that reason every once in a while. |
Rode through Zombie Land. I cannot find a word to describe the conditions I saw. I was reluctant to photograph people, but this was one of the cleaner areas I saw.

People can't be bothered to put a shopping cart in a corral, so why would actually having to lift your arms to put a piece of paper into a can be expected?

I agree, and unusual to two see tires with two colors, much less matching a bike with the same two colors.

I miss the first tyres I'd put on there after yanking the stock 2-pound brown wire beads. These were apparently race-day CX treads though, as I chewed them up in no time...

The new hipster white wheel set comes with a fixed gear installed but nothing on the freewheel side. I am not hip or foolish enough to hi fixed so I want to transfer the SS freewheel from the shot wheel to the new one. The lock ring does not take a typical freewheel tool. Any suggestions??

Probably 80% anxiety and 20% day lengthening. My natural wake-up time ordinarily is about 45 minutes before daybreak. Lately I have been awakening even earlier.
Good news is I went out at daybreak and finished my 3 1/2 hour ride while the family was still in sleep/morning mode. I have a noon teleconference with my office partners. We are likely going to talk about shutting the office completely and having everyone work from home with a skeleton crew of 2-3 nurses and one non-clinical worker, plus the 5 docs. Sad. We are hemorrhaging $$$ and even with the furloughs and telemedicine it's looking grim. |

Damn! I had one of those tools until recently and ditched it because I knew I’d never have a SSFW again. It’s probably on there too tight, but a pair of needle nose pliers and a big adjustable?
