The two times I have been close to mountain lions, at least that I have known about, they weren't aggressive. One just walked across my path, casually, and didn't pay attention to me. I still got tf out of there. Horse people told me she had a den near there with cubs. The last thing I want to do is get near cubs.

The other one was in a gorge and I looked down and saw her. I think it was a her. She looked at me directly in the eyes and I backed away and got on the bike and took off.

I've been around mother bears but they were busy with their little ones and were not concerned with me.

I 'liked 'post 8788. The like didn't take and the button disappeared. It did not re-appear after a refresh. That post only is missing its 'like' button. This is par for the course for me. If there is even a hint of a bug, it will find me.

I can see your name in the list of people who liked the post. Also, when you like a post the button is designed to disappear but an "unlike" hyperlink appears below the posters name. Nothing sinister, just working as designed. I hope this helps.

EDIT: The other jersey is my daughter's softball all-star team jersey and District Champ medal from her first year playing the sport (she was 8). Next year, she will be playing in college.

Way cool!

Slow night. Everyone must just be getting home from band practice.

Ummm....NASCARs on a 1/4 mile track?? That sounds problematic.

It's an exhibition race on an untested track, using a brand new car. The upside, it won't be a full field of cars. The downside, it's going to be a **** show.

I cannot see my name in the list of likes. That is not normal. But thanks.

Apparently this didn't exist in June when I went the Neurosurgeon. So now he wants me to get this done. It makes sense since it provides valuable information. Also was prescribed 2 pain medications. These also were not available in June. Lots of advancements in a few short months. SMFH.
