That's essentially what LesterOfPuppets made.

Pie filling also uses a starch - like corn or tapioca starch - to thicken so the bloobs don't just roll all over the plate, out from under the crust. Nobody really likes watery pie.

Does it get crazy later in the day?

They installed a pump yesterday for intravenous antibiotics.
. Dad went back in after blood work on Friday showed he has pneumonia, and his hearfailure is active. His legs were alarmingly swollen.

Yikes! MRSA is no joke. My Dad got it once in his knee after a cortisone shot, and was in the hospital for some time with IV antibiotics.

We're surrounded by maple trees.

My Dad made maple syrup once, from one of the regular old maple trees in the yard. Didn't get a lot, since apparently you have to boil away 97% of the sap you collect. He let me have a teaspoon of it.

And me, using an old laptop - I don't cast a shadow. I'm like a vampire.

You're switching from fake syrup to real honey? Excellent!

Nope.

As I mentioned last week to datlas I've been having some discomfort on the top of my head (quasi-headache). I got to thinking about it more and it occurred to me that the area affected matches the discomfort I feel from pressure after hours of wearing these on the lawn.

Is it possible that these are a source of bother, even several days later? Discuss.

It's bound to be more useful than your culinary advice.

Alternately, an Apple TV, a decent-size computer monitor, and a crap load of box fans will also get the job done.

Hey Doctor, it hurts when I do "this".

Don't do "this" anymore.

A couple friends of mine make maple syrup every year and I get a bottle or two as an annual gift. There used to be quite a bit of it in my area but it seems to be dwindling.

Thanks to this broken website, I can't see what this is referring to, but the answer is likely obvious.

We used to collect it in New Era potato chip cans.

That's just who I am, I need sound logic or convincing evidence before I adopt new behaviors. I'm not a spontaneous person. My reticence regarding disc brakes is probably a good example. :innocent:

I have a similar situation going on. Eighteen years of marriage and I'm slowly getting it. I'm resistant to change.

18 speed internal gearing. There is a tandem crank on the other side. They can shift from one to eighteen, or the other way, in a flash.
4000 euros apiece. For the bike only. I failed to ask if the discs are hydraulic or not. So many things that could be asked if there was a day more. The are from East Germany, and were 18 when the wall came down. I would have loved to chat about that a bit. His weighs in at 40 kilos; hers at 30. Schmidt dynamo hubs, with a specially made USB charging port on the stem. Flash bikes.
I highly recommend the Warm Showers experience.

The skull itself does not cause pain.

Or does it?

My wife starts a new job soon. Her office is in the Pepsi Center, which is big time fun.

On her first day, her new boss was walking through the kitchen at the Pepsi Center and ran into some dude wearing a mask making food. Boss went up to him and introduced herself. He said "Nice to meet you. My name is Joe Sakic."
