wheelbuilders in the southbay?

Anyone have any favorite wheelbuilders in the southbay, my previous go to guy is not available, and wheel building is something that I can and have done, but not enough to be good. this will be higher end build and don't want to practice on it

If I was in that area, I'd look up Gravy Wheels - last I saw Steve was up in Novato, but not sure if he is still building. If he is, you won't find a better wheelbuilder.

Harry at Spokesman Bicycles in Santa Cruz.
He has built 2 or 3 wheels for me and they have remained strong and true for years of heavy riding.

Tom at Velotech in Palo Alto is an amazing wheelbuilder. If I was going to get a set built by someone in the area I would be going to him.

I haven’t been there in a while, but don’t forget about George at Slough’s in San Jose.
