Dilemma time - do I want to leave at 4:00 to go for a ride considering that it's 100 degrees?
|
Just got a phone call and voice mail with a number showing as Austria. Some of the message got cut off, but I was warned if I did press one to speak to the "concern department" legal action will be taken against me. I am doomed!

Oh, yeah. Mrs. GJ did that, to, Doxorubicin and Cyclophosphamide. Plus radiation. And 5 years of Tasmoxifen. 17 years ago. Cancer free since!
I remember taking her to one of her infusion sessions, and the nurse being ultracautious about getting the IV right, because "If this gets on your skin, it really burns". And I thought, "On her skin? ON HER SKIN?!? You're putting 30 mL of it right into her damn veins!!!" So, yeah! No chemo is great news!! |

I had a sinus infection that wouldn't go away. Received stronger and stronger anitbiotics. Saw many doctors until they sent me to UCSF. They put a picc line into me that went from my forearm into my heart. They said it was because the antibiotic was caustic and had to mix in the turbulence. I had to inject it at home every day. First few times I waited for a hole to develop in my chest.

Could you get some reinforcement welded to the frame then drill the holes for wires? That's what a dude I know is doing with his homemade steel frame - YMMV

LSS's Oncotype DX score is 10/100. That's great news, for those of you who aren't @datlas. Now 15 days of XRT, 5 years of an aromatase inhibitor, and, hopefully, happily ever after.
If the scheduling works, we might even get out for some cruising in Sept. She drove the boat on Sunday, but felt it a bit when she had to grind in the Genoa sheet. No point in going easy on her, though. :D |

I don't think I'd be the most. Just more on that end than the other.
Indy's Subie is 5 years old with just 13k miles. My Jeep is 8 months old with 8k miles. But, we don't have any other type of transit. I'm driving about 7k per year since I retired. I think it's great. In the mid 90s my commute was about 30k per year. |

CL Ti of the day. Vintage Clark Kent with 74xx goodies on. And a steel stem #steelisreal
Asking $950 https://images.craigslist.org/00u0u_...4_1200x900.jpg The more I think about a titanium frame build, the more expensive the idea becomes. It would be stupid to buy a titanium frame and skimp on the components, after all. |
