I was driving my old Blazer on the freeway and something hit the windshield hard enough to cause a cloud of broken glass particles to hit me. The hole got larger until it would whistle at freeway speed. It was big enough to pass a pencil through it and I put duct tape over it to keep it quiet. After years of this a cop pulled me over and told me to get a new windshield.
Of course, about 3 months after I got the new glass another object broke it on the same freeway. This time there was no hole.

I was driving a customer's truck and a bolt flew off the back of a truck and destroyed the windshield. The guy had a banner across the top and some other crap, he was not amused.

Just remembered, when I bought my 65 Chevy truck there was a big crack in the windshield. I drove it for 19 years and never fixed it.

It’s not a star. Looks like a bubble 1cm with 1cm cracks on opposite sides of it. I expect they will apply epoxy filler which I hope prevents the crack from spreading.

Maybe on the west coast. My employer gave us Friday and Monday off.

There’s a beach in the Cities?

They have that repair stuff figured out pretty well.

I noticed I can't get to it from my favorites or my history.

Dozens in the Cities. MN is the land of 10,000 Lakes and Minneapolis is the City of Lakes, so you know we've got some lakes.

SMH.

Looks like they added "41" to the subforum name. I could be wrong, but I think that the URL was just "bf.com/41" BITD. :foo:

Not for me. We only get a make up day if the holiday falls on a Sunday. Last year the 4th fell on a Saturday. We got neither the 3rd nor the 6th off.

Putting it back in the URL probably won't fix that though.

:(

LesterOfPuppets 07-02-21 06:52 PM

Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) was given number 23.

LesterOfPuppets 07-02-21 06:54 PM

I'm somewhat surprised someone had records of what all the forums' numbers were.

LesterOfPuppets 07-02-21 06:56 PM

Well, mountain bikes is 26, so it's still the same, just assumed all the legacy numbers remained the same.

Kudos

I haven't even broken 1k yet.

Relative to last year, I'm at 30% of total mileage. At 50% of total elevation though :thumb:

I've never heard Non Farm Payrolls abbreviated as NFP. Maybe it is a new thing.

Also, I use more than just the non-farm employment number.
