Big John, I feel like an idiot. So I took a quick look at the cervelo today, and it was one of the cables causing the problem. It was rubbing again the frame in a way that felt like the head set was stuck, and it was also behind the noise I was hearing when I turned the bars.

Play is still there.

Which seems a shame, since I spent a not inconsiderable amount of time getting it looking good and working well.

But, guys.....

I mean, the 7410 crank is The Most Beautiful Crankset Ever, so how can I not?

I like my cranks to be more shiny.

I have seen them polished. These get worn fairly often, right where the "Dura Ace" is, and some folks will strip the anodizing off and polish them on the buffing wheel. I was pleasantly surprised - especially for the price I paid - to find these looking as good. The NDS is even better.

24 inches so far this season. About 36 inches behind our average. Sad.

A Lynskey, size large frame set just popped up in my area for 1,000.00. With the litespeed just about done, itís time for another project.

You're trying to enable him?

Personally, in Campagnolo, I prefer the late 90s/early 00s Record and Chorus.

10sp square taper Record are my favorites!

HA!

That's not how my Muse works. I already have the Litespeed, so another Ti bike would be redundant. It's why I find myself pondering selling the Lotus Classique - it's the SECOND 1982 Lotus with Shimano kit in my collection.

But getting the 102mm bottom brackets is a bit of a pain sometimes.

You don't remember when Kanye moved there?

The Battaglin has a Phil Wood in 102 with Campy tapers, and the Ritchey has one in 103 with JIS tapers. The Litespeed's getting the BB-7410 that came with the crank. I don't feel anything untoward.

Welcome back! The wordle drove you away, didn't it?

I can coexist in a world that has wordle. You should try that approach. Better to wear slippers than carpet the world. I'm done for the day here. I have work to do around the house.

Is it just me or are orange peels thicker than they used to be?

Are you asking if both you AND orange peels are thicker, or if it's only you that's thicker?
