Happy New Year to everyone.

I'm bringing in the New Year with some new paint. It was a hasty rattle can job,but I like it. Didn't originally plan to color match the stem but I think it works.

Sooo clean. Looks like you got a hitch hiker on your seat stay.

Took off the drops and put risers on today. Forgot how fun it is to ride like this.

How's the toe overlap on the Big Block? considering the frame for a FG/SS commuter/whatever bike but I have some slow spots and tight turns.

No overlap with this setup -- 58cm frame, 165mm cranks, 28mm tires, Crank Bros pedals with Giro shoes. Haven't checked it with other setups, but I never noticed any toe rubbing.

KHS Urban Soul that I got used and turned into a commuter / road bike. It has an 18t freewheel and a 17t fixed gear cog.

I recently replaced the chain with a new KMC 410 cause I need to replace the rear cog (previously a 15t) with a new 16t Dura Ace cog that I bought almost a year ago. I need to get a bigger chain ring asap.

With fenders maybe a 28, it's kinda tight on the rear with a 25c, without fenders I've fitted a 30c cyclocross knobby tire so I think a 32c slick might fit.

Looks good to me, but the cat is the best part!

+1, I have a Big Block with Sugino RD2 cranks, 165mm and zero issues no matter what pedals I've tried. Currently have track pedals with straps.

You'd laugh if you saw her from the side view,her rear legs are so disproportionatly longer than her fromt that she looks like a hot rod when she runs around the house.

BTW, what did that bike start its life as? I like the rear dropouts. Nice build.
