I got mine in the summer of 1986, shortly after reading a similar article in Bicycling magazine. They were out of the red, so I got the Black Chrome. It still looks pretty good.

Missed opportunity - they should have gotten "after" pics of all that pearly white stuff at the end of the test ride....
