Sun's out so, naturally, Benson's lunchtime activity was blazing trails through the snow drifts.

I ran out of guesses.

I just noticed that sometime recently they changed the average snowfall amount here. It used to be 6.5", and now it's 4.6". #GlobalUnsnowing

My sister messaged me on FB the other day, about our cousin's son having posted on FB that he'd done 47mi - on Zwift! - for his 47th birthday, and that she'd mentioned me - "You guys should get together!" So now we're FB friends. And I saw his 47 mi ride - he did the NYC KOM a whole minute and a half faster than me! He also did a Century on Zwift, with an AVERAGE power of 270W for 4 1/2 hours. Holy crap! He's a beast! Now sister is saying "You guys should ride together!". Luckily, he doesn't live around here. I suspect he'd eat me for breakfast.

I'm not sure which stuns me more, his average power for that time, or the fact that he spent that long on Zwift.

I know, right? I think I managed 2 1/2 hours on Zwift once. ONCE.

He is clearly a serious Zwifter.

I don't think I've ever done as much as 2 hours.

I checked his profile. He even RUNS on Zwift.

BTW his 100 mile ride included AdZ, which he did in 57 minutes.

His response to my sister's "You guys should ride together" was that he was going to be in CA this summer. Of course, it's a big state.

You'd better start training harder.

I just checked. I did 3 hours, back in December. It was a rainy Sunday, so I did The Pretzel. 47 miles.

Maybe I can catch him on a recovery day.

The old chain and cassette only have 100 miles on them. I took it to a shop because I gave up on trying to figure it out, the quick link on the new chain gave it away apparently.

I just checked my records and both chains broke when a pin pulled out of a side plate. Both had a little over 300 miles on them when they broke. I bought these in late 2019.

Maybe he still runs caliper brakes and you can nudge a little brake rub on him when he is not looking.

I was thinking if he didn't have a bike, I could loan him one with DT shifters, a 52/42 crank, and a corncob cassette, but he might just use it to crush me.

I wonder if they count shrinkage from evaporation because our snowfall depth is similar. It was around 12" last Wednesday and is now ~8.5".
