Uh huh.

I've never been to Phoenix. Per that map it looks like there's city and suddenly it stops.

I'd have to check the annexation maps, but I think that's actually Peoria. The CAP canal kept house construction to the north of the canal at bay for a while, but it has begun.

If only they had a stapler.

I’m the same height and I’m bigger-boned.

Understanding the irony re: music from yesterday, I quite like the cycling technology from when I started. Ten speeds on the back, English threading, rim brakes, and everything simple. Except of course, I'd have those feelings about quill stems and nine speeds if I'd started a few years sooner, or pressfit bottom brackets if I'd started a few years later. It's all an illusion.

They fell out of favour because you could never catch a bald man with a hairnet on.

Hairnet refers to the leather “helmets” of yesteryear.

Specialized also makes an Airnet helmet, with a nod to the hairnet design of yesteryear. Actually looks like a good helmet and good value.

I can deal with the stems and shifters but toe-clips are evil foot torture devices.

My first year racing kit:

Hairnet - check
Wool Jersey - check
Cleated shoes - check
Crochet back leather gloves - check

I still love quill stems and DT shifters.

You’re a road cyclist?? This whole time I thought you were just a walker.

Couldnt ride today due to water leaking from the sky, so I did the only other logical thing I could think of. I set this bad boy up for my offspring. She loves aquariums, and at two years old she calls the movie finding nemo “anemone”, so this should bring her some joy.

But nope. Vistancia. https://goo.gl/maps/rcaXQvErMju9AmaR6

I got pulled over in flag when driving from Va beach to bull head. I was doing 120 down the mountain and a cop was sitting in the medium. I saw a flash of blue and instantly slammed on the brakes and pulled over. He was this good ole boy cop, bout to retire. He laughed at me and said that he never saw anyone pull over so fast. He wasn’t even going to chase me, he just turned his lights on to scare me. All I got was a warning, it was a pretty cool experience. And blink says nobody likes you when your 23.
