I'm cleaning up in these little races on Zwift. Tonight's was a crit, in Crit City. I have been doing the "Anti-Sandbagging" races, figuring that 1) I won't have to compete with people racing in lower categories than they should and 2) when I'm ready to move to the next level and start losing constantly, Zwift will let me know with a cute little green cone.
I swear, it's like riders in the D category don't get the whole 'drafting' thing. Any time I went to the front to pull, they'd accelerate to get back in front. So, I sat in as much as possible, and threw in a couple big accelerations, then let them catch me. Then on the last lap as soon as we hit the little climb I went hard, dropped them, let one of them catch me again, and then sprinted for the line and won by 2 seconds. |

I haven't really paid attention to King Crimson goings on for 25 years or so, but according to this pic from the ATL, there are THREE drummers in the band.

speaking of steering, are you going to steer your Honda to meet me somewhere convenient in Knoxville on Thursday at 4 PM?
I could bring you good tidings of great joy from Sharpsville. https://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2021...-ramp-closure/ https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...0e503223b3.png |

Not intentionally. It's what's available at 6 PM PDT. Looking at 'Results' on Zwiftpower, it looks like 6PM PDT is just about the least popular time. The most popular seems to be 12:30 AM. I'm often awake then, but I don't thinnk I'll be racing then, if I want to get to sleep at a reasonable hour.

I put an old time computer on my bike, thinking I'd be doing some touring. That idea proved false, and yesterday I completely forgot to turn on ridewithgps. Liberating.

Funny thing is, my Grandfather loved the game so much that not only did he play it professionally 110 years ago, he later worked as an umpire for 57 years. Even cataracts didn't stop him, though maybe they should have......

Well, they're definitely not into my veins and tendons, especially LSS. I am under orders to gain weight and I've been lifting my tiny weights and pounding the whey powder, but to little effect.
