Was red here as well. So was the moon.

It was really nasty here last night until we had some T-storms come through.

I've never had a problem with our friendly neighbourhood crows.

Also, blanching ≠ boiling. Many vegetables, like broccoli, are great after blanching for about 4 1/2 minutes. Much longer and they fall apart. Longer still and they become mush, and some of your cruciferous vege start getting that sulfurous smell.

Do you know what a group of crows is called?

It may have when it got lower in the sky. Too many building in my area to see it once it gets below a certain height.

I always figured those names for groups of animals were some cutesy Edward Gorey-type stuff that someone made up in the not too distant past. I find it suspicious that they are more often recited than used.

I sometimes wonder how olde those terms are too. I'd like to think they've been around since the 18th century, but you never know.

Somehow I wound up electroplating for a year and a half and that occupation is riddled with terminology that surely must date back to the days of alchemy.

Haven't they changed the name yet? I reckon there will be a settlement, but if not I vote for Neptunes.
