You mean this, but this is autumn, not summer.

Note the Vol Navy flag, available at an internet near you.

Another day in which the people who don't get it show their true colours. Sigh.

If he weren't, you might think someone else was using his account.

I'll say this, Phrantic's picture is gloomy and has no ray of sunshine. Plus, tugs are cold weather boats.

Well, you do have choices. One can choose to be a grump or choose to look at the bright side.

That was July and the water was a steamy 68 degrees.

Down right frigid. Our pool temp in July is typically about 90.

I did swim in that lake. it was relatively warm. I could stay in for about 15 mins without getting cold. Unlike the summer two years ago. Then the wind blowing down the lake was cold and my "swim" consisted of walking in, diving under and then walking straight back out again.

That's not a pool, that's a bathtub.

Not when it's 105.

I don't get in it until it's at least 80.

One of the two pools in my hometown was heated with the waste heat from the A/C for the house. Usually that made it much more pleasant for me, since I was a skinny kid without a lot of insulation. But there was the day when it had been about 100, and the unheated pool wasn't available, so we went to the heated one. It was like bathwater. Decidedly NOT refreshing!

Due to a couple of big trees, our pool is only in full sun for a short time during a summer day. Even when the air temp is over 100 for an extended stretch, the pool water never gets much over 80 only due to the weather.

Don't know the water temperature, but this pool felt nice after riding around Phoenix.
