I think 10 total.

I did not leave the property either. My wood shop is ten paces from my porch door, and the dogs and I walk the back 40 daily.

seedsbelize2 01-09-22 08:20 PM

I spent a good deal of time rewiring that pole lamp. What should have been a ten minute job. But the pole was plugged up with something. I discovered it unscrewed into three pieces and that helped a lot. Got it all done and it didn't work. Figured it was the ancient switch so got a new one. Nope. Change the bulb. Nope. I found the cord in my electrical spare parts bin. Turns out both wires were fastened to the same pole. Wtf? Fixed that and all is hunky dory. But it badly needs a shade.

And I did some wood work in lieu of bike riding

If I may ask, what position did you leave, to come to this new one? If I may not ask, ignore the question.

I don't follow the NFL closely but the steelers were the local team when I grew up. Strange ****. I feel as confused as seeds. No offense meant.

i don't like leagues changing the game. For example, I've hated the DH in baseball since it began.

Tomlin is a good enough coach to take a terrible team and old broken QB and squeak into the playoffs because they donít believe in rebuilding. What they do next year will be interesting.

What movie did you end up watching?

I was a manufacturing engineer at an aerospace machine shop.

Now I'm a bike mechanic. Definitely happier now.

Seen on redd it. The maker estimates a cost of $1 to print and ship, including needles. Pretty nifty.

Same here. Wasn't the headset. I think it was the pump, knocking on the top tube.

The 'hooty' brakes turned out to be WAY off center. Once I re-centered the calipers, the hoot went away. The noisy FD turned out to be noisy RD. Too much cable tension, but only just. I should have known from the hesitant shifting to the smallest 2 cogs. I did fix the front brake cable, though, so there's more than a butt hair between the pads and the rims at rest.

Sunny today, but colder than yesterday, when it was cloudy/raining all day.

I can live with it. I also get no ads following me around. In fact I get no ads at all, including on YouTube. Imagine the internet with no ads. No ads and no passwords.

Ok, but I do want you to understand why you're getting the behavior you described.

You know what I want? I want none of those intrusive pop-anythings that cover the entire screen these days. "Sign up for our mailing list!" "Would you like to chat with our rep or AI?" "Look at this autoplay video that pops out as you scroll past it!" And then there are the banners that cover 10% of the screen from the bottom. The web is nearly unusable because management thinks their message out is bigger than usability.

I spent the '88-'89 holidays in Sweden chasing an au pair I had dated that summer. The house used the clothes dryer to help heat the house. They also had a sauna in the house. And real candles on the Christmas tree.
