I don't see that Park Tools makes a bolt extractor. Any suggestions for a budget bolt extractor for bicycle-sized bolts?? Most of the ones on ScamBay seem to be designed for autos and are too big.

Try McMaster Carr or graingers.

Try a little of PB Blaster first. It should loosen almost any bolt before going to a bolt extractor. Let it do its thing overnight and maybe even a second application to really allow it to work down into the threads.

grainger.
Kroll. It's the oil that creeps

I would not touch those things. According to the news story I saw, they are only available in retail stores in NYC. Otherwise, you have to order them.

And am I the only one who is reading a certain reference into the words on the container?

All of Virginia that I've been to is lovely, except the east coast. My sis lives in Harrisonburg and a good friend lives just south of cho. I did sOTR twice and like the Lynchburg area too.

Plan was to wax one of my chains today. Still in the process but after an hour in the pot the wax still looks like this.

I might have to abort.

Rufus, on the right, is no longer with us. Quinto, on the left is now 14+. Maximo, above is 7ish. I'll see if I can find a pic of his sister, Hotdog. We saw Spot the other day.

I stand corrected. Chain is now submerged in molten wax. How exciting. Did the cervelo tonight, if all goes well will do the madone tomorrow.
