Good girl! Mice like to come inside when it gets cold out.

I hate to admit it. Velo Vol was right. People here don't get it.

My front brake track is silver, so I would really want to replace both for aesthetic considerations. Part of me wants to do polished silver, but I'm not sure how great that would look with black hubs & spokes.

Given those things, R460 is my first choice since the published ERD are within 1mm of the Archetypes, and they're black with silver machined sidewall. I built some CX wheels with them years ago and was really impressed. Of course, the 24 hole is in stock but not the 20

Of course. :o

Listen in this case.
We have a friend in Belize, the former school principal, who named her two daughters Anna and Karina. So I really must check it out.

Had my first experience with being behind a guy with threadbare shorts today. Two holes as an added bonus. Hope I never have to contend with that again. ☹️

Did you politely let him know?

You're a lot closer to that mess than I am.

Most sports talk I listen to focuses on the proper football conference.

Good thought, but I think not. I was plenty warm by the end of the ride. I am fairly sure it was my fault for not consuming enough carbs during the ride.

Did your brain stop working?

I'd say it's possible. Digital zoom = crap.

You won’t regret it.

I had a nice ride today and I saw my friend who had cracked her top tube a few weeks ago. She found some frame guy locally who did the repair and painted it to look like it had never been damaged. I was also reminded of how much faster she climbs than I do.

I spent a lot of last Spring pulling weeds in what we like to call The Back Forty, which is really just the part of the yard that used to be overgrown with Ivy, volunteer plum trees, and other unruly plants. Fall of 2020, we had it all pulled out down to the dirt, and covered with wood chipper mulch. In Spring, we got a huge crop of weeds. A lot of Oxalis, some Ivy, an astonishing number of Oak seedlings, grass clumps, and Apple of Sodom. I spent many an hour on hands and knees, pulling weeds. By Summer, I thought I had won.

Then it rained.

So, guess what I'm having to do for at least a part of every Saturday for the foreseeable future?

That’s what happens to me when I get hypothermic. One reason I stopped doing “frostbite” sailing races in the winter was that motoring back from the finish and putting the boat away, I’d start stumbling and slurring and getting so generally stupid that I thought my life was at risk. Weird thing was I felt cold, but not overwhelmingly so. All in all, I’d much rather ride a bike this time of year.

Nope. Ramped it up to 2000 watts and passed him ass fast as I could.

My iPhone says I’ve walked 12,933 steps so far today, and the night is still young.

When I even mention that word, Mrs. GeneJockey's lips disappear and her eyes get really narrow.
