I don't need the noon row so I've got that going for me.

Time to walk Roscoe and drift off to sleep basking in the glory of another successful day capped off by a Pirate victory.

Weightier than a flute perhaps. Try carting around a drum kit.

Get one of these: https://www.guitarcenter.com/WolfPak...AaAgIeEALw_wcB

Drum kits are bulky, but don’t weigh a lot. An 8x10 bass cabinet and tube amp is a beast to move anywhere…but damn they are fun to stand in front of on a stage. 🤘

Time for the Usual Suspects mid-week ride.

Lucky for you. We are in a rain pattern, again.

Mojo31 08-25-21 07:23 AM

After 5 days of temps topping out at 70 and requiring a jacket in the evening, I'm back to 100 degrees. :(

rjones28 and anyone else: If I increase a crankset from 48/32 to 50/34, will a longer chain be required?

I think he means you must be stronger if you are going to bigger gears.
And yes, probably need a longer chain but it depends.

Have a chance to get a a 9-speed 50/34 crank for my Sirrus for cheap, which would make the gearing closer to that on my Domane. It would make both 50/34 on front and 11/34 on back, albeit 9 speed versus 11 speed.

And, no super human strength. Just an old fat guy who is not in the best shape, unfortunately.

If your chain isn't at least a link longer than the shortest it absolutely has to be, yes.

Chances are somewhat decent that it's long enough already.

Put it in the big/big, then push the bottom of the derailleur cage forward to see if the lower pivot of the rear derailer still had a little room to rotate forward. The more room it has before the stop, the better the chances everything will be just fine with existing chain.
