Naughty or Nice, what was under the tree this morning?

I hope everyone is having a good holiday with their family. If you don't mind sharing with others what did you receive that was on your wish list? It need not be bike-related...so if you are inclined please share.
This year, I have not bought any new bikes but have sourcing parts for frames that I have been fortunate to acquire over many years. My daughter has been with us for several months which is a wonderful gift for me and my wife.
I did get a gag gift that was recycled from years past....I seem to always be getting "Spammed" for Christmas, here it is.

Spam and coal to heat it up!
Best, Ben

Umm, Can I be both?

I received a new jersey with my alma mater for being Nice. But then I was Naughty and got myself the Prologue frame for Christmas!

The best joke gift that I got this year was from my daughter. Since we work together, we have put up with all the crazies from 2020: the idiots on the road, the "I'm entitled to not follow the recommendations of experts" during a pandemic, the politics, etc. You get the idea. We relieved our frustration by starting to "politely" as possible call these individuals CCDAs, "Card Carrying Dumb A----". I now have 100 of the following to do with as I wish:

Among other things was a Wahoo Element Roam for my poor eyesight! included was another speed sensor and an extra mount! The only hitch is the lack of an adapter for 26 or 26.4 handlebars. the mounts assume 31.8 or whatever. Ordered a stem shim for 26 to 31.8 but will have to modify for 26.4.

So far, the "nice" are winning. :thumb:
Keep'em coming, naughty or nice.

I finally built up my 1992 Specialized Stumpjumper drop bar conversion which I plan on using as a winter bike. I'm running Continental Top Contact Winter 26 x 1.9 tires which are pretty good for mixed pavement/snow (studded tires are better when there is more snow). I still need to install fenders. My garage should warm up by this afternoon when it hits 30 or so and I'll install the fenders. The bike ended up being a bit of a project with a new headset and a badly scratched up frame that I dealt with. Still many of the parts are original. The bike weighs in at 27 lbs which isn't bad for a MTB with fat tires.

My first pair of proper vintage-style cycling shoes, come all the way from 2Velo in Serbia. Having owned my share of leather shoes of other sorts, I'm impressed with the quality and look forward to seeing how they go. The fit seems great!

Merry Christmas, everyone!

My first foray into English bikes since the mid-1970s, back when I had an Armstrong 3-speed with the Cyclo hybrid derailleur 12-speed conversion.

"Some assembly required."

Nice still ahead and that's good, I should have been a little nicer!
BTW, Love the dancing shoes!

My wife bought me (or should I say I ordered and my wife collected them at the door and wrapped them) all the consumables I need for the Bob Jackson I bought 2 weeks ago. Once I get the Christmas presents on it, I'll take some more phots of it.

Very nice, but way too tall for some of us. I have always liked Bob Jacksons, and now I have a newfound passion for English bikes. :)

Hey Ben, she made out pretty well. I'm just finishing off a full gut a remodel of our Kitchen. Her actual present this morning was a Garmin Fenix 6s Pro. Oddly enough I received a Fenix 6 also. She had ordered mine before the Bob Jackson showed up.

Not under the tree, but built up just in time for Christmas. The roads are too dirty for the maiden voyage, and will have to wait for spring.

My two thoughtful adult children gave me some cool bike art for the study and some wine art for my palette.
The wines are all methode champagnoise from a spectacular local winery. Heaven can wait.

Not for me, but the partial 910 build was revealed to my wife:

Well, kinda for me because I get to build it! It'll probably have Jitensha/Priest/Valencia bars in the end.

Not a Xmas gift, but someone gave me this Modolo carbon 26mm bar for free recently (and I am always on the lookout for 26mm carbon drop bars)

too bad the clamp area kind of got crushed into an oval. Oh well.

Still waiting for the pictures of the L0-Pros you've been hiding.....you know what they say, "show pic's or it didn't happen". :innocent:
