Interesting bikes.

I am pretty sure both of these are owned by the same guy.

What's with the blue tires on the ground?

shelbyfv 10-28-21 04:46 AM

What's interesting?:foo:

Please tell me that it doesn't have to do with social distancing. Bikes cannot transmit the 'rona to one another.

easyupbug 10-28-21 07:10 AM

The blue spaced tires are interesting.

Maybe explaining why you think they're interesting might be a good idea. Because right now, all I get is people set up handlebars in ways I wouldn't like riding. This is not surprising.

I'm feeling the nonfiled cutoff bars. I mean, really feeling them. There's a dangerous situation waiting for an opportunity. Both of them set up to do some slicing/dicing.

Might not be street legal. Many states require both a front and rear brake. Though none enforce it. However a clever attorney might use that to their advantage if any injury case was to go to court.

On bike 2 the knee-activated downtube shifter is kind of interesting, and that the saddle and stem share the same angle is at least funny.

Bull horns, ready to gore.

The radially spoked cut-out high flange hubs are likely to break before the month is over.

This is the same bike as the bottom picture with the doll face on it and all but it was re painted.

I really enjoy seeing these bikes.

Are those Larry’s bikes?

Or his homeless drinking buddies’ bikes?

Do you know the person who makes these?

BlazingPedals 05-22-22 04:59 PM

This thread gets my vote -- for what I'm not sure.

yes, they are interesting in a quirky way - however the radial-laced wide-flange front hub in the first pic looks like one good pothole away from catastrophic failure. That would be interesting.....

MTBbumpcrush 05-29-22 07:27 PM

it is just an old steel bike and blue tires,What is else interesting?

It was a social distancing thing and they had people stand inside the tires to make sure they were distanced. This was taken a while ago.
