Maybe.
You shamefully won't even pry yourself out of Knoxville to go visit your buddy in NW Metro Atlanta (or something like that), so nobody will expect to see you elsewhere. |

Today is another one of those cute calendar dates - 12202021
Tomorrow is another one, sorta. |
We are leaving for Sedona Wednesday. The forecast is rain and cold. The two nice days are the day we arrive and the day we leave. :(

All she cares about is when she says "tacking" I release at the right moment, dive for low side, and get that 140% Genoa in toute de suite. The cramps and cries of agony are my business.

I tried that one time, I think I only made it 20 miles. More power to him.

Left the lap top at home this morning. Had to go back and fetch it. I have a serious case of the Mondays.

When I went home to get it I snagged my wool hat on my neighbor's tree. Got back to the office to discover that there was a giant leaf stuck to it. I think that explains why the old lady sitting across from me on the bus was looking at me like I was nuts.

Sedona is a mountain bike destination. I haven't been, but friends rave about it.

I get lots of hamstring cramps when I push it. I don’t think statins do that. Worst part is when I jackknife to straighten my knee, it often causes my chronically overworked abs to spasm. …Or maybe it’s the same spinal cord process doing both.

I added an edit to the above. My hammys only do it post ride if I sit wrong, legs under me,, or in folding chairs. I don't know why but they don't like folding chairs. If I sit in the car or stay on my feet it's no problem.

*(The Pretzel, which combined all the climbs in Watopia at an earlier stage of the game, so no Alpe du Zwift, but it does include the Epic KOM from both sides as well as the Radio Tower once). |
I learn all types of things on BF. Before today, I had not heard the term Richard Noggin before, although I did figure it out after a few seconds.

I managed to do 47% of a century on Zwift. It wasn't too bad, but I used getting a route badge for a tough route* as the incentive. It wasn't horrible, but it was a long time in the garage. I had to make sure I got out of the saddle periodically, whether the terrain required it or not.

I think I once spent two hours minus pee breaks on the trainer and I've been doing a 90 min group ride once a week or so, which I find hard enough. I couldn't conceive of doing a century unless maybe it was laid back enough to listen to the most fascinating audio book ever produced.
Of course, you don't see me doing many outdoor centuries either. OTOH I would jump at the chance to do an outdoor century every weekend if the temps are above freezing. |
Raise your hands if you're working all week.
