Great posters!

it,s a shame it's ended. I only attended a few over the years. Was it's demise Covid related. Is there chance for resurrection?

I love and will miss all of these old posters. It would be nice if this event were resurrected. It would also be nice to see similar events in the U.S.

Yeah..
Covid shut it down.
I've thought of reviving it but haven't made any steps.

BSA in decent shape for $50 near me.

I might rather have the Humber though, a bit further away

The BSA would be my choice.
I would think it to be rarer,

But the kind of BSAs I prefer have twin cylinders. Besides, the Humber has that awesome, arcane logo

That's got to be a '70? Newer side cover marking and front fender

I've had it since 1987 or so.

I've had a few over the years. Last Brit was a 250 Starfire and a 72 Triumph Triple. I've gone Italian, and Spanish

Benelli?

Yes. '65 Benelli 250. Barracuda in the US but called a Sprite elsewhere. It's a twin to the Sprite I had in my youth which unfortunately suffered from my abuse and subsequent neglect in storage under the care of a friend. Still in pieces at this point but one day it will be Motogiro USA worthy.

At the risk of turning this into a motorcycle thread, gster I had a 70 A65T which I thought was cool but not a keeper; swampyankee2 i learned to ride on an Ossa…. Still have a couple Ducatis but they don’t see much use these days.

O.T I know, but....
We all seem to like:
- British machines (not sure why?)
- Things with two wheels
- Fixing stuff up

I'm impressed that you got it on that table.

my first "big" bike was a 66 BSA A65L that I restored to stock. I've owned a couple more in various states of repair since. Moved on to BMW airheads amongst all sorts of other brands. I've also owned and restored a few Ossas and Bultacos more recently, after getting the Motogiro bug. Sold my last "big" bikes - a BMW 675/6 and a Harley Superglide - 2 years ago. Just the Ossa and Benelli now.

Raleigh Sports for My Daughter

I'm getting this Raleigh ready for my daughter. She's outgrown her Space Rider and a Dunelt. She likes coaster brakes, so I got an AWC (ii) hub and a dynohub and laced them to Sun CR-18s. Creme Delta Cruisers. I think I have the lights sorted. I have a B66s for her, but she says she likes the monstrosity that came with the bike.
