Kink Launch or Framed Team bike

Hi gang. Trying to decide whether to get a Kink Launch or Framed Team bike.

This is mainly for messing around with my little kids.

Thanks!

I don't have any experience with Framed. But I did own a Kink Launch, and looking over the specs I can't help but think the Launch is much better BMX. With the kink you are getting Cro-Mo Forks and a sealed headset and BB. If you were to go out and buy those parts for the Framed you would spend far more then the $100 msrp price difference between the bikes. The kink also has brand named parts like "Mission" though they are at the bottom end. But with the Framed, the rims are no-name single wall pinned rims. Pinned rims are usually a bad idea if you are over 120 pounds and want to jump your bike. I also think that the cranks look nicer on the Kink.

Not a kink

I have ridden 2 kinks(a gap, and a curb with some custom parts) and have broken them both very quickly.
I am never getting a kink again.
I have bent the forks on both, and broken the gaps' bars.
I would go for the framed bike.

You're buying the most entry level of Kink bikes and expecting them to hold up like the higher end models? It's not Kink's fault that you bought a bike for someone just starting out riding BMX and they are below your skill level to save a buck. You get what you pay for.

The Kink's cromoly steerer tube is a better value for that reason alone, but both bikes are super entry-level. Ride gently.
