We ride over (had a flat but no biggie) and the shop owner grabs me and asks me to the lead the ride because he had pressing shop business to attend to. I mean, there are worse things to do than lead fit women on a 20 mile ride. :)

There is a women's training ride from a shop I know and many of them are road racers. Waaayyy too fast for me, even the younger me.

OTOH there is a women's mountain bike club here with a pretty big membership. I've ridden with them several times and it's always fun. Sure, some of them are way fast and fearless but they always wait and watch out for the others.

There are better things, too. Like, following.

Next, the Bugatti Veyron will come with subscription cylinders. You get 8 standard. $5000/month gets you up to 12. $15,000/month gets you up to 16.

So now it's a Herald Angel?

Hey, cut me some slack! While y'all were swapping witticisms I was out flogging the Battaglin to a new fastest time on my 22 mile route.

Years ago a bunch of my friends had VW Beetles and some were skiers. At the resorts they had trouble starting them in the cold weather. One guy put a blanket on his engine the night before and forgot it in the morning. It caught fire but they got it out before the car burned down, just some wiring damage.

cyclingstream.com, and tiz-cycling have it free, online.

Here is a pic from John Howard's 75th birthday ride. Another ride tomorrow.

Kind of bummed that excel won’t give me a tracking number, they allow me to track it on their website but the information is very limited. It left denver and arrived in denver yesterday. No action today.

I had a 63 beetle I drove across country, west to east, and then drove it till it died a long, slow death. Loved that car.

I don't know how people drive rhd cars here. Just having the shifter on the left would be too weird.
