No washouts on my ride. No sun all morning either, so sweet.

My neighborhood is filled with walkers and dogs and the dogs are all friendly but one widow has two Labrador retrievers and walks them several times a day. One of the two, howls at me if I’m in the garage or yard and even on my bike until I stop and pet him. And, if I don’t pet him long enough, he continues to howl until I do. It’s both heartwarming and annoying at the same time.

I had a Doberman once and the stupid cat bit me worse than the dobie ever did. |

Ava The Tapping Pei crossed the Rainbow Bridge last night. Sad. She was quite the celebrity in the Shar Pei world.

Can you tuck me in, Mommy? - YouTube Until she got too old, and couldn't make it up the stairs to sleep in our bedroom, Lucy used to come over to say goodnight to me when I got in bed, every single night and no matter what time it was. I could come home at 2am and, and she'd be sleeping in her bed, but she'd pop up as soon as I sat on my bed, and she'd come over and visit with me for 10 seconds to end the day. |

Last night on the road in Upper Black Eddy, PA. Metric century tomorrow to my local for a celebratory bourbon.
