i frequently thought about catching and overtaking Big John in post count, since we were so close. That stress is now off the table. The nasty run-ins I had with some over the years. Gone. If the mods keep a list of troublemakers, I get a fresh start. Seedsbelize is/was assuredly on that list. I'm sure there are other advantages.

Dark chocolate is the staple after dinner dessert.

Didn't even know you were on my wheel.

Are you going to hit the brakes and let him run into you, or are you going to stand on it and widen the gap?

Since he was nice enough to announce it I'll pull for a while.

Yes

Late start today because we are doing the pizza route. First time in months since it's not supposed to be stupid hot today.

No surprise, but the Fred population in Georgia is booming.

Hey LAJ - is Troy still around and racing?

That doesn't make sense.

Our next dog will be a female and medium sized. I'm done with large boy dogs.

Why not try cats?

We had a cat once. Dusty the Merciless. Maine Coon and he killed and ate everything. Brought in bunnies through the dog door and ate them. Massacred a bunch of baby bunnies in the basement. Somehow caught an owl and brought it in through the dog door, up the stairs, and left it in the hallway. It was still alive. Catch and release.

No more cats.

I'm done catching birds flying through the house.

I like cats okay, but I was fine being a dog-only house. However, as usual, my opinion carries very little weight with my wife and daughters.

Our daughter has a male dog that is about 85 lbs at less than a year. Thing is part Pyrenees. Wilson is about as chill as a dog can be, but he sure commands a lot of space. And, when he acts like a dog, he acts like a big dog. She wanted a mid-sized mix rescue, but ended up with him. It gives me some comfort knowing that when she is out with him at the park, etc., nobody is going to jack with her without shooting him first. While kind and laid back, he is protective of her.

We have a very small 9 pounder that takes very little space, and when she acts like a dog the consequences are not nearly as big. She's afraid of her own shadow, and when she barks it's with her tail wagging. Don't think she's ever bared her teeth with a growl. Works for us.

Try a normal cat. They're better than dogs.

This has not been my experience.

They would go even further with a motorcycle. SMH.

He is! He's racing 50+, so we got to race together a few times because our fields are mixed. He's doing well.

Funny. Lotus is a 40 pounder, and that's considered a mini. I'm OK with her being a bit smaller.

There's such a thing as a 'normal' cat?
