Appreciate that, but you don't owe me anything.

When I was a wee lad, we used to get wild - or at least feral - black rasbperries growing along the back of the property, which backed onto fields that alternated among corn, barley, and winter wheat. They were SO MUCH better than storebought red raspberries, but rather than providing a single big harvest, they tended to provide a handful a day for a couple weeks. So my big sister and I used to forage for them while also looking for the asparagus that had been planted many years before by the previous owner and which had spread considerably.

I'd be leery of picking and eating fruit along a road. Mostly where I grew up it would be some farmer's crop.

"You guys, however, are on your own."

I took advantage of having an extra day off today to wash the 3 bikes that I rode in the last couple weeks, which got all covered in the usual road grit. Now I'm seeing whether they'll dry out in the garage with the electric radiator running and a fan moving the air around.

I've snagged a couple of cultivated raspberries from the fields below, just made sure there were no trucks or golf carts in sight, so I never got shot for it :)

Blackberries grow wild all over the place in western Oregon and Washington, so plenty of them up for grabs. People will pay you good money to remove blackberry brambles from their yards up there.

Projection of the day: Hellerick boreal triaxial. Really does a number on Pakistan.

Gonna throw this out as the map of the day:

It's no coincidence that they seem to flock to the warmest part of the country.

Either way, it sounds like common thievery to me.

A neighbour does have some banana trees. I think they're kind of cool.

Maybe you should try some real chorizo so that you can make a proper comparison. :innocent:

Just kidding, carry on. :)
