If you think your thread belongs here, go ahead and post it. That being said, this subforum is broadly about the materials and process of making bicycle frames out of tubes or carbon. Also, paints, decals, and other ornamentation. And questions about frame failures or frame construction regarding finished frames.

You can try your luck here, but I think that questions regarding vintage frames are best hashed out in Classic and Vintage. I don't think you'll find more experts on old frames here than you will in C&V. Definitely frame identification, vintage tubing, and lug information is a specialty of some people that post in C&V, so it's best to start there.

If you want help buying a frame or people's opinion about a framebuilder and their practices, that's probably a better question for General Cycling or Road or any other specific subforum about the kind of bike you want to buy a frame for. That's where frame consumers hang out, not here. OTOH, if you want to know the status of a specific framebuilder, we might be able to help you here.
