Hydration pack recommendation

I've been using a Camelbak for a while, and although I generally like it, I've got one problem with it. Many jerseys these days (including my favorite jersey from Stolen Goat) have slight dimpling in the weave, and the mesh surface of the Camelbak that faces my back abrades this kind of fabric. Jerseys with smooth weaves seem immune from this problem.

I'm wondering if any of y'all know of a hydration pack that won't tear up these textured jersey weaves.

Also consider a runners hydration vest.

I have a similar issue with my camelback. Now I have a few jerseys that have become my camelback jerseys.

Not directly in line with that type of jersey, but runners vests are often more forgiving materials becuase of their constand movement.

I'm only familiar with CamelBak so I can't answer the main question, however have you considered alternate storage for the hydration pack instead? For instance, I know CamelBak has some fannypack-style packs. Also, some ultraracers store their hydration packs in the frame bag instead.

You might try the Osprey Seral or Savu. The Seral has a bladder, while the Savu just has options for water bottles. Osprey website
