All this talk about new bikes. I work on my own bikes, and will not buy a bike with hidden cockpit cables. I don't care if I lose 3 or 4 watts. (not that I have a lot to spare).

That's 2014, there should be a yearly record, but yeah, they're probably well short of this year's record.

We got one last year, when we got out flu shots. We'd never heard of it either.

Uhm. There is a "pneumovax" vaccine that does not protect against pneumonia. It does protect against invasive pneumococcal pneumonia, so it's still worth getting.

There is also the Prevnar 13, which has some data suggesting protection against the 13 strains of strep. pneumonia but these strains are disappearing due to kids getting the vaccine, so we don't ordinarily recommend it either.

I've never been to Minnesota save for a short layover at MSP in the '90s.

I go to a place about 3 bocks from the office. If it's too busy, I come back another time. And my hair is sort of difficult to cut. I sear it has a mind of its own.

When I did ACA's Northern Tier route we spent the second most number of days in MN. Thirteen days, IIRC. That's because we went NE from Moohead before turning SE and eventually going into Minneapolis and then followed the river down to IA. Also took days off at Lake Itasca and Minneapolis. MT was first, at 15 days. It would have been fewer, but we had to wait a an extra day fro Logan Pass to open and later did some short, flat days (~40 miles each) that could have been combined. We kept them short because of the older, slower riders in the group.

I might have passed through AZ, but never spent and significant time there. Don't think I've ever stepped foot in OR. :foo:
