And then there is American Airlines and it’s rescheduling of flights.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve booked flights to the Carib thru Miami, knowing that I will need long lay-over times because of how long it takes to get from one terminal to another or to get thru customs/immigration. Then, AA changes my flights giving me 10 minutes to connect outbound and 15 to connect inbound. Then I have to spend two hours on the phone with CS explaining how at least two hours are needed on the inbound flight due to the three hour lines to clear customs/immigration.

I'm ready to stop flying into the USA. With a checked bag, you do customs twice. It's just nuts. Two hours to get through those shenanigans and another to make your connection. And I agree, Miami is the worst.

You get to make the rules but if you stop to eat and then finish, that counts to me.

I was fine idly thinking about it, till I found a frame on Ebay for a reasonable price but it said it was a 60 (too big). I had to find another one to compare headtube lengths, using the pump peg and the spacing above and below it as a reference. It IS a 60. But in the course of that, I found this bike that I had passed by at least 4 times because the listing SAYS it's a 56.

No. Sorry.

To combat all that BS, we signed up for Global Entry in 2019. Waited about 10 months for our interviews. Two weeks before the interview, COVID shut everything down, including the interviews.

I laugh at people that sleep in the middle of a 600k. There's my answer.

IS KNOXVILLE becoming the NEW BENTONVILLE?!? - YouTube

Never been there. We've got plenty of roads to ride on, so why bother?

Because it's fun? Try something different? No cars?

+1. I hope I can live the rest of my life never being in or bear that airport again. Same with Hartsfield.

Big john's gonna make fun of me, but I'm starting to jones again. This time for a Centurion Ironman. One of the guys on the ride had one - red and white, with Shimano 600 kit from between Arabesque and Tricolor. Too small for me, plus it's his bike. So I was looking on Craigs List like I often do and there's one up in Sonoma County. Red with 'Titanium', both metalflake. Same kit. Listed as a 56, but the pics look bigger than any 56 I've ever seen. Longer head tube, steeper angle between the seat tube and seat stays. Same 6207 kit. Seller's asking $300, but the listing's been there 16 days.....

Hi. I'm Doug, and I'm an addict. It's been 3 months since I last bought a bike.........

Nothing of great interest to me on our local CL right now. This '84 520 for a c-note is kinda tempting though...

Jackie spent last night in the dungeon because mrs datlas has had enough of the 3AM awakenings. I am thinking this may be the new normal in our household. The cat was VERY happy to see me at 5:30 when I let her up.

No. I like to try to cut people, even the doofuses (doofi?), some slack. If it is blasting at volume 11 that is unacceptable.

I have a fan I use when it's hot at night and the cat really doesn't like it. When the fan is running,, he stays out of the bedroom.
