Rode 55 miles this morning. Did 20 of those miles with a group. The last 10 miles were painful. It has been a month since I've done the long ride. I enjoy it a lot.

Having said that, I have another century planned for the 15th of next month. |
only 17 miles this morning but it was a nice ride.

How fer today? 257 furlong commute
Like, 0.5 miles lol. I picked my bike up from the shop today and rode around the neighborhood just as a quick test drive, but didn't have time to actually take it for a good spin. Maybe tomorrow!

ine are in the Clyde forum in the monthly thread. 9.6 tonight if you must know. Rain is threatening.
I'm just getting back into biking. I did 19 miles today with some hills- those wore me out. I've done 440 over the last 6 or 7 weeks. Can't remember the exact day I started up. I usually do a 15 mile loop everyday with a day off to recover after every 7-8th day.

I think the latter looks worse than the former. -Tim- On Monday, I rode 82 km with 893 m elevation. I've been averaging about 200 km a week for the last 4 weeks. My season is likely to end in 3 weeks as I'll be traveling in Italy into mid-November. Some years we can ride right into December but that's iffy around here. A big problem by then is lack of daylight, in December sunset is at roughly 4 pm |
27 miles!
50.5 miles today.
I missed yesterday, 10-3-16 (81.39) miles. Today 10-4-16 (21.45) miles
I did 30 yesterday morning looking for some new roads to ride down and I'm burnt out on my usual routes. Today I'm torn between looking for more or going to the river legacy park MUP and cranking out a long ride (it's windy as hell and those trails are pretty protected and I don't feel like fighting it again today very much).
I got in 30 today, felt like crap at 20 and started heading home. By the time i worked the dust off and was ready to go i was home and pissed at myself.
Got in 30 miles today on a beautiful sunny crips morning
72 miles today, part of Brighton, Michigan's Tour de Livingston
The Stats
Distance: 388.2 km (+2 km getting to the start)
Moving Time: 19:22:19 Lapsed Time: 23:19:18 Elevation: 527 metres More description in the Weekend Rides thread: http://www.bikeforums.net/road-cycli...9-10-11-a.html |
I hate you all.
I felt pretty proud that I managed to squeeze in a lap of my Short Loop (about 11 miles) three days in a row and today, found time to do almost 18 miles on some other roads. I felt really good .... and then I read this thread. ;) |
I did Tour de Livingston yesterday. Not with Friday1970, but we met at the after-ride meal. In my case, I started on the 66 mile route but missed a turn and found myself back near the beginning with only 24 showing. So, I did another loop, this time finding my missed turn. Counting a lap around the GM Proving Ground track, I ended up with 89.1 miles.
86.something miles today. Had the day off work.
13 Sunday Morning on my Cannondale Beast of the East in Stewart Forest single track trails.
