Jeez, in a couple weeks, actually - it snuck up on me. I think that I need to manage my expectations this time around - it could be a mess. I already gave in and agreed to an "on the way" stop in NYC so that my wife could have a little reunion with some friends. We also have a day trip to visit another one of her friends in NC, since we'll be so "close." :notamused:

Daughter and husband are coming from Iceland to stay with us next week for an indeterminate amount of time while she gets ready to move to Seattle. Wife will be starting radiation treatment and and wanting desperately to get back behind the wheel of her boat. Probably not wise to commit to anything, but let me know.

I have a feeling that I'm not going to be able to plan too much "me time" in advance, but yeah, I'll see what's what.

I wasn't terribly thrilled about the stop, but then I realized that I'd still have my bike in the car, too... that got me thinking about a silver lining of spending the day on a spin through the city for old times sake.

...and then my wife informed me that she'd invited a couple of our old neighbors, thus committing me to the gathering. *sigh*

I'm in desperate need of new road shoes. We sell Lake at the shop so I very briefly tried on a set of CX176 and they felt really nice, especially for the price.

We have some CX332 as well, but I'm not even going to tempt myself by trying those on :lol:
