So, I have 2 family members in the hospital now. My dad went back in on Saturday and my brother went in on Friday. Brother had a prostate procedure done and ended up with an apparent mursa infection that almost killed him. His BP was 80 over 50? He was passing out. And hallucinating. He might get out today. They installed a pump yesterday for intravenous antibiotics.
. Dad went back in after blood work on Friday showed he has pneumonia, and his hearfailure is active. His legs were alarmingly swollen. |

Now you need to invest in a big screen TV just for your spare room/garage, and a minimal computer with a kick-ass graphics card, and a crap load of box fans.

You're switching from fake syrup to real honey? Excellent!
As I mentioned last week to datlas I've been having some discomfort on the top of my head (quasi-headache). I got to thinking about it more and it occurred to me that the area affected matches the discomfort I feel from pressure after hours of wearing these on the lawn. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...7ac124330.jpeg Is it possible that these are a source of bother, even several days later? Discuss. |

A couple friends of mine make maple syrup every year and I get a bottle or two as an annual gift. There used to be quite a bit of it in my area but it seems to be dwindling.

My Dad made maple syrup once, from one of the regular old maple trees in the yard. Didn't get a lot, since apparently you have to boil away 97% of the sap you collect. He let me have a teaspoon of it.

I get it. I understand it's extremely hard to change eating habits. I'm just fortunate to have a spouse who's a nutritionist and keeps hammering these health reminders into me until I get it. She always complains that I don't listen to her, but that's not the case. Her words DO sink in, just slowly, requiring repetition. That's just who I am, I need sound logic or convincing evidence before I adopt new behaviors. I'm not a spontaneous person. My reticence regarding disc brakes is probably a good example. :innocent:

18 speed internal gearing. There is a tandem crank on the other side. They can shift from one to eighteen, or the other way, in a flash. 4000 euros apiece. For the bike only. I failed to ask if the discs are hydraulic or not. So many things that could be asked if there was a day more. The are from East Germany, and were 18 when the wall came down. I would have loved to chat about that a bit. His weighs in at 40 kilos; hers at 30. Schmidt dynamo hubs, with a specially made USB charging port on the stem. Flash bikes. I highly recommend the Warm Showers experience. |

Thanks to this broken website, I can't see what this is referring to, but the answer is likely obvious.

My wife starts a new job soon. Her office is in the Pepsi Center, which is big time fun.
On her first day, her new boss was walking through the kitchen at the Pepsi Center and ran into some dude wearing a mask making food. Boss went up to him and introduced herself. He said "Nice to meet you. My name is Joe Sakic." |
