The Circuit is a 56, and with the saddle at 31" and the stem at minimum insertion, it's still 2cm more bar drop than any of my other bikes. Do-able for rides as long as 55 miles, but I has lower back ache for a couple days after I rode it for 65.

Cervelo has a 6 inch saddle to stem drop the ritchey has a 5.5 inch drop.

The emonda I test rode today was a 56. Had the saddle at 31 inches, saddle drop was 5.5 inches.

Only a few more mowings left there this year. :(

How many lawns do you mow?

Mojo31 09-13-21 07:48 PM

Do you get paid for mowing those lawns, VV?

I have really long legs but a short torso long arms.

I like the reach of the 56. I’m a little worried I will feel to stretched on a 58 but, I might be over thinking it.

You might benefit from a custom frame, and I rarely say that.

This summer I've mowed, or helped in the mowing of eight. But a majority of those are fortnightly..

I could never use a 6 inch drop, even when I was in my 30s. I could do 4, but not these days. I like the long head tube, 220 or 230mm, so I can use the uncut steer tube without too many spacers. Means I have to look for a frame with a 59cm top tube and use a 90mm stem.

Yes, but once you figure in travel for the one I did today (church-related radio station), it's not much.

But it gets me out of my Knox County boondocks bubble and I get some exercise.

Well, it is a bike trail. And it’s familiarly called the “bike ferry.” I guess some pedestrians use it, but it’s a long walk for most people.

You should add potatoes to a cheesy bean and rice burrito sometime. It's excellent, especially if they make it well.

I worked at a Taco Bell as my second job in high school. Still love it, although it kills me how expensive it's gotten.

I can live without the 7 layer, but I hope at least they learned their lesson in pulling potatoes off the menu.

I was kind of disappointed that the potatoes in the spicy soft taco are fried pieces of potato and not regular cubes.

As a vegetarian I would certainly consider Taco Bell in a pinch. I would prefer chipotle. And if out in the boondocks with no Chipotle, would prefer a Veggie sub from Subway over Taco Bell tbh.

I have the added difficulty of being alergic to wheat.

Mine are all 3-3.5" except the Circuit, which is about 4.5.

I shoot for 2cm

I can't. Not as of about age 55?

It was about age 53 when I injured my back the last time. Plus, I worked on cars for 12 more years after that.

He was better in Soap and Sports Night. But in honour of rjones28 's pup, I'll pop open a cold one to celebrate the Benson birthday.

I always assumed he was named after the TV show.

I havnt noticed any lower back discomfort. I did a century with it in this position and other than the usual discomfort that I get (hot foot), tight back, it didn’t feel any different than any other time.

I did notice on yesterday’s 60 mile ride my upper back hurt in the shoulder area. I think this is more from keeping my shoulders and neck tense when Inride, I have to constantly remind myself to relax.
