Slow morning. Everyone must be checking their bikes for forgotten triples.

I've done a fair few tune ups on bikes with road triples this spring.

Triples prevent flats then.

End of the road. I'm in the back, you can barely see my shades.

Come to think of it. I have never had a flat on The Ritchey. It has triples, so this must be factual.

You have not tuned up my triple bike.

Couple from yesterday. Here, the lady who volunteered to sweep is at the first summit just as the people who did just the one climb are turning back.

Some of the early descenders at the bottom while the rest of us are beyond the hill you can see in the background.

Cut 1.5 lawns today on one battery that lasted 38 minutes. Will finish it tomorrow. Tried to take a nap but only drifted in and out. My lower half is a little ouchy today. More than usual to be precise.

I did get a flat on that bike last year. Delta shaped pieces of sheet metal. The last flat I got while touring on it was back in 2014. First day. Woke up to find the rear flat. Turned out to be a tiny piece of wire, probably from a truck tire. I had to submerge the tube in a convenient puddle to find the hole.

The only flat I've gotten on the Litespeed - so far - was with the 7410 DA, not the Campy/Sachs Frankentriple, so.....

I stopped for a snack at the halfway point, but it wasn't anything like as nice as a burrito.

I don’t discuss airless rubber objects.

I noticed the "View first unread" button seems to be missing today. I rely on that button.

Yes, doing so just invites unwanted things to happen.

But if you are on triple then you are safe.

Mojo31 05-29-22 04:23 PM

As far as I know, I’m on a single.

Back in the Tennessee Valley. :bday:

When I arrived home I turned on ESPN2 and had a good nap. When I awoke I had a snooze ball championship to celebrate. #YearOfTheVolunteer :bday:

What?

Time constraint or money constraint?

Seems like there are answers to both of those.

Are they even in the real tournament? Or do they play Hiawassee, Lenior and the like?
