I like fast STRAIGHT descents. There are a couple on my usual routes where I can easily hit 35-40 mph, though only briefly. Technical descents scare me, partly because I'm so out of practice doing them, which makes them even scarier, and that makes me even less practiced, which makes me more anxious, etc. Lather, rinse repeat.

I kinda got burned out on the Ramones by 1990 or so. They were just played everywhere I went back in the '80s.

Thinking of the Ramones reminds me of when the ex and I were in NYC in 2002. We walked by CBGB and she was all embarrassed because I was wearing a Bush shirt. I dunno why, seemed like a bunch of mall punks hanging out there anyways,

This is one of the few songs I was able to play on the gee-tar. It's stupid easy, as a punk song should be.

p.s. even the guitar solo is easy. It's one note, over and over again. Easy peasy!

A Blue Heron was eating the fish from a koi pond of a guy I worked with. He thought it was the dog until he put up a camera. He showed me a pic of the thing on a wire, it was huge.
