Need help with spoke length

I’ve had this project sitting forever. Collecting parts here and there, I have some high flange hubs I want to build up with 27” concave Weinmanns. I’m not much into building wheels so how do I go about figuring out the right spoke length? Thanks.

When in doubt, St. Sheldon will show you the way.

There are a number of spoke length calculators, just Google "spoke length calculator".

sloar,
You aren't far from me, come down and we can build them up together. Golf season ends in about another six weeks and I should have plenty of time to help out. Smiles, MH

If you need to check ERD here is a easy method to measure using 2 j bend spokes and a caliper. The method was recently described on BF in a recent post but I cannot find it.

(I also have 2 HF hubs to build clinchers for my PX10 that I need to complete)

I use the UBI calculator and the Roger Musson book linked above. Measuring ERD is the most likely area of error IME.
