38 miles through the UW, Fremont, and Ballard areas of Seattle. Even took a spin up Stoneway Ave from Lake Union to 45th street. It's a good climb but not real long. Maybe about 9/10's of a mile.

Actually from yesterday, my 70th birthday, 25 miles. I made snap decision to drive to my hometown so my twin sister and I could spend the day together. 950 miles in 2 days was more miles driven than in the rest of 2022.
Kind of strange riding where I grew up and not knowing for sure where I was heading. I had to orient with the sun a couple times to get the bearings right. Took my siblings out for dinner, we do not see much of each other. I am very glad I made the drive, my 70th is now memorable. I am leaving Illinois tomorrow, heading back to Delaware, but will take 5 or 6 days. I am going to stop a couple of places to ride in areas that are new to me. |
Happy Birthday! Welcome to the septuagenarians' club!Best regards

35 miles. Getting a lil chilly out....

2 miles, today was my first time back on a bike not attached to a trainer since my knee replacements a few weeks ago. They didn't want me trying a regular bike yet but it was a beautiful day and my poor old Takara looked sad sooo....... My mount and dismount was not pretty but I got it done LOL.
