My first car was a 1956 VW Beetle. The one with the oval rear window. I should have kept that car. Restored it would be a nice car and almost worth the cost of restoration. My second car was Triumph Herald. Then I had a succession of old English cars, mainly Vauxhalls before buying my first Citroen.
If I had kept the bug, or the Citroen DSuper and done them up It would have cost the same as the multitude of old cars I've owned and I've have a nice appreciating asset. But most the old cars were fun. At least until cost of repairs got too much. Then I'd buy another older car. rinse, repeat. I'm a slow learner. |

But just think of that nice, new squishy feel your toes will enjoy. Almost like walking on sunshine.

My first car was a college graduation present, a '73 Olds Cutlass Supreme, 350 Rocket V8. That baby could boogie.

Note to Velo Vol
the 2 eastern Tennessee metro areas are free of rain right now. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...9e5b8a5847.jpg |

I had one, but it was a darker blue. I had more fun in that car than any others. I put "Prowler eliminator" tires on the stock wheels. Those tires were very square giving maybe twice as much tread on the ground and had stiff sidewalls. It handled like a Porsche.

I'm deeply considering selling the R3, getting Rival etap and road wheels on the revolt and having a single bike. Someone talk me out of it.
That said, I wish it were a Caledonia now, but still. |

I would guess there are people at the ranger's station. I would guess it has air conditioners and could be a life saver in those temperatures. Hopefully there are cars there to get out. I don't think one could walk to another place. What if the power went out?

Went on an 8 mile hike on a trail along the Delaware canal. Lots of serious and not-so-serious cyclists were seen. I even saw a few e-bike fat bikes.
