Depends on where you are. Riding at night at home I feel very safe as long as I avoid Monticello, and the colonial parkway ( serial killer).
Riding at night here in Irving. Guaranteed GSW, followed by repeatedly being run over by cars. I don’t know if they second statement is true, but I would hate to be proven right. the part about getting run over is probably true. |
Today I rode with 3 others and it was a spectacular day. I'm so glad the heat is off, down into the low 80s. We did a little climbing, had a snack, did some bike path, a canyon climb, a short back road with some 14% on it, then a different canyon with a 50mph descent, but I don't do 50 there anymore, then 15 miles of headwind.
We rode above the largest reservoir in the area and it's so low it's frightening. I've never seen it that low, not even close. |

The GSW part is not true. This isn’t Chicago. You have to go to south Dallas for that.
the part about getting run over is probably true. noted. i’m testing my experiment when I have to come back in 3 weeks. This time we’ll be for a month so I am bringing the bike for sure. Also staying right across the training academy place, and the roads look much more cycle friendly. |

I was told over and over again how that was the lowest it ever had been. It was pretty low. Now it’s even lower. |

You would need an awfully big pipeline to satisfy your state’s needs.
The plan worked perfectly the first time……….. |

It's not just California, parts of Arizona, Utah, and Nevada, too. |

There has been talk of a pipeline from the Mississippi to the headwaters of the Colorado. The theory is that would be the shortest route.
It's not just California, parts of Arizona, Utah, and Nevada, too. just build a desalination plant already. |

As far as I know all of my bikes are 172.5 mm. Is this something that is going to be noticeable? If the silver and red 56 is still there I might be able to switch them, Waiting for them to order a set would take longer than what my patience would allow. (monthS) |
Another 24-hour fast in the books.

Hwy 360 frontage road north of Hwy 183 runs on the west side of the airport. It’s has pretty light traffic, and there are frequently cyclists out there. River Legacy Park MUP in Arlington. 5 miles out and then back. Good number of cyclists east of Collins Street. Fewer walkers. Not congested. Ten minutes from AA. Roads north of the airport in the Founders Plaza area. Light traffic, but mostly commercial traffic. Park at Founders Plaza and take off. |

if you had a proper light it wouldn't be dangerous. They're cheap and work very well. I've been trying to tell you but you won't listen. SMH
