This is just hyperbole. I'm glad you have had good luck with them but they are just cars.

Hmm, wonder what triggers the minivans oil change light. I never paid much attention. In fact I just left the light on the whole time between the last oil change and the one before last. I just go by look, smell, alignment of the stars, etc. :)

No Ouija board?

CX tire choice can get complicated. But, for a beginner, start with a good all-rounder like one of these:

Grifo | Challenge Tires
Cyclocross | MXP - Tubeless Ready – Donnelly Cycling

Pedals

I use these - Eggbeater 3 – Crankbrothers
Many like Shimano MTB - PD-M540 (shimano.com)

Shoes

The mountain bike version of your favorite cycling shoe.

No mud guards in cyclocross racing.

Thank you!

Where does one get the secret serious cyclist access code?

That's a secret.

Both of our cars have over 100k and are 2016s.

The Acura has 135 and runs like the day it was bought inside and out. The VW is a little rough, not sure how long it will last but I hope to get at least another year out of it.

Step 1: be a serious cyclist
Step 2: we'll talk about that when you've got Step 1 out of the way

So you don't have one either.

There's water in Beer. Keep that in your back pocket for emergency use.

I have thought it would be neat to cruise around on one of those vehicles that drives on the tracks. Got any occasional jobs in Knox and neighbouring counties?

Since I don't own a locomotive, I can't help you.

datlas 04-28-22 08:02 AM

I think you must also be a master of italics to be a serious cyclist. :innocent:
