As normal people do.

Sad.

Too much for me personally. I've had this bag for about 10 years and it's tough as nails. I've commuted and traveled internationally with it. At one point it became the manly diaper bag. Mine's blue and grey. I commute with a Mountainsmith Rocket now because it's a little more comfortable for less cargo.

Time for a new bag. What do you think of the color combo? I get things dirty easily so I avoid bright colors.

We were a Jif household when I was a kid, so the first time I came across real peanut butter, I was like, "wtf is this?"

We're a real peanut butter household now, though, so when my kids have come across Jif or Skippy, they're like, "wtf is this?"

Dang, I've been using a mixer with only one of the beaters in to stir up my peanut butter, but today I could smell the mixer motor starting to burn up . Guess I need to start chucking a beater into a drill from here on out.

That's gotta be some stiff peanut butter.

Real men just use a knife. Then put it in the fridge so it doesn't separate again. And you never pour off the oil, unless you want peanut cement.

I was a real man for many years, I'm too old for that **** now.

It is pretty thick, I was definitely heavy handed with the pour.

My favorite is from WinCo, where they have the grinder with a hopper full of nuts, but I don't get out to WinCo these days.

They just sent out a promo code 'SAVENOW' which should get you $20 off a purchase of 4 ($20 off $150+, $35 off $240+)

Tahini is the butter of choice in this household. The mechanics are the same.

seedsbelize2 09-30-21 11:42 AM

And now it's time to go swing the machete for an hour or so. Poco a poco.

Stirring a little jar of peanut butter is too much work, yet you'll go miles out on godforsaken dirt/gravel roads for no apparent reason. SMH.

Question: what size GP4K II were you running? The 5K are going to be narrower, like pretty much the equiv of one size smaller in a GP4k; they're being sized so that they're closer to nominal on modern, ~19mm rims. So if you were hoping for 23s, you're prolly in good shape with the 25s, but if you've been running 28s, the 25s would be really undersized.

I tried it. Does not apply to the items in my basket. Sad!

It's 28oz, so I wouldn't call it small. Medium I reckon.

They've got grinders at my local co-op, but I haven't gone that route, yet. Am I missing out?

I am running 23F 25R now, but the new wheels I ordered from PSIMET are modern/wider than what I have so I am expecting the 25's I ordered should be fine.

Fresh ground is kind of nifty. Probably more expensive, though.

Think they'll mind if I put some honey in the hopper, too?
