Roscoe approves of the deck. He can adequately rule his empire from this elevated position.

Outside of LA. I’ve heard it needs a new naked cyclist.

Pffft - it was rigged from the start.

Equal teams. Rigged only in that East Coasters are more serious cyclists.

Same. What I'm missing out on...

My teammate, Mike seen here after winning the fatbike race yesterday. I'm sure it was even muddier today.

At first glance on a small screen, it looked like he is holding an empty plastic cup.

Looks peaceful.

Riding naked can’t be good for saddle sores.

There are usually full plastic cups after a particular run-up on that course.

Ojai is wonderful.

BAM, you only ride nekkid around town at a leisurely pace. No centuries.

fify.
It's a nice place in the hills inland from the Ventura coast. Expensive real estate and it gets pretty hot there. My ex wife and I used to ride there from home for overnighters, sometimes with another couple, about 75 mile each way. So much fun.
My friends drive to a remote start and ride there and back for a century a few times per year. It's a nice ride, lots of avocado and citrus trees, quiet back roads, and some long climbs and some steep ones, too. I have become such a wuss I haven't done it in 2 years.

What's with all of these fatbike pics?

I swear, most of the races feature actual cyclocross bikes.

Start of the Masters race. That's Mike out front.

kind of like missing my high quality content.
addendum:
For no apparent reason as a former cyclist I pumped my tires up to full pressure. 75f. 95r for 28's.

The portion of land up for sale is about an hour away from Nashville International Airport in Maury County, sitting near the scenic Natchez Trace Parkway.
Some fine riding on the Trace, I'm told.

"For locals, they recognize the dreaminess of this, and also it’s just the perfect proximity to Nashville," she said. "It’s some of the prettiest country you’ll see in Tennessee."

That's either too little in the f or too much in the r IMO. Or maybe a little bit of both.

So wet. We had heavy rain all day yesterday. Quite a bit of flooding in the region.

rjones28 10-17-21 07:17 PM

Lots of rain today too. Not as heavy, but colder.
