She's figuring out that real-world forces are a lot different than what she experiences while playing the F1 video game - LOL.

The MKV style? That was the first car I bought myself! Very nice but had "issues".

At $5 a month, I think it can be found on even Saturn budgets.

My LBS has a ladies ride on Thursday mornings and some of the women have been asking my wife to attend but it conflicts with our regular T-Th group. For some reason, she decided to go today and asked me to ride over to the ride (9 mi.) and then I would do my own ride while she rode with the ladies and then meet up afterwards to ride home.

We ride over (had a flat but no biggie) and the shop owner grabs me and asks me to the lead the ride because he had pressing shop business to attend to. I mean, there are worse things to do than lead fit women on a 20 mile ride. :)

GP5000 just arrived. 53.00 dollars each on amazon.

Kind of bummed that excel won’t give me a tracking number, they allow me to track it on their website but the information is very limited. It left denver and arrived in denver yesterday. No action today.

They want you using their box, I assume.

Much as I love the TV, these apps are pissing me off and I'm borderline to turning the desktop back on in the evenings because they're all unusable messes.

When duty calls. of course the women in my area would just drop me.

I just ordered a pair for my wife’s bike from the Bike Closet for $108 including shipping and Illinois sales tax. Base price was $89.98 for a pair.

Or at least a few of them did.

The shifting feel on my MK 7 seems about the same as the shifting feel I remember on the MK 2 we had BITD.

Especially for only one month.

It was a Triumph Herald. that started the rot: I continued to buy old english or french cars and spend a small fortune keeping them on the road. I often had to bike through winter at university as I was saving money to repair the current old car.

Mrs. rjones28 drove a Triumph Vitesse (Herald variant) Mk II for a while, in the 1990s. It perished in a fire at a mechanic's shop.

Not her actual car.

I saw that, but with amazon when I ordered it said they would arrive yesterday. So it would have been less than 24 hours order to delivery. Of course for what ever reason it was delivered a day later. I am not known for my patience.

I actually hate ordering anything online. I usually will pay the high price in a store to get it then instead of waiting. I know I’ve wasted a lot of money that way, but I enjoy going to stores. I draw the line when my LbS is going to charge me 170.00 dollars on two tires when I can get them online for less than 110.00.

If they would have done 120.00 I would have bought them, but they wouldn’t budge.

I do the red eye from PHX Sunday, so should be at my house Monday morning. I hope the pedals are there so I can give the ritchey a make over.

The view is better if following and not leading.

Just sayin.

I hope that’s a typo.

I kind of want a Mk I Scirocco.

Nope. Burned to the ground. Miraculously, the more exotic cars in the shop got pushed out in the nick of time.

Along with the mechanic's tool box.

I had a 56 Beetle. A friend borrowed it and got drunk and crashed it. I don't know how much a 56 would be worth but VW Beetles are very hot right now.

Speaking of hot, my 72 Beetle had an engine fire. It wasn't fatal (to me or the car), but I got rid of it.
