Speaking of which, it would be a gross injustice to not mention this, the most famous migrator of them all.

One took an interest in me during my September tour. Also saw a bald eagle and great blue heron that evening.

I'm close to needing a new Specialized helmet. And some shoes, but I'm holding out on both.

I was at a ride in Xenia, OH over the weekend and a lady had a helmet with a stunning red fade to black color(s). I asked her what brand it was and she said she didn't know; she bought it at Walmart. :)

Threshold requirement for crew on any boat I skipper, but I’ll take any species.

Looks like like a moth, no?

That's a beauty, I have to look through my collection to see if I have a topside photo of her. Definitely a butterfly.

Do you know the species? Took the photo in Belize.

I do not have one of these in my collection, and I took a quick look through my resource without success either. Look through here for now and I'll try some other sources later.

Yeah and there is no such thing as multitasking.

datlas 10-03-19 10:59 AM

I am seeing mostly Spotted Lanternflies these days. Not too many butterflies. Sad.

MoAlpha 10-03-19 11:15 AM

We always find stink bugs on the boat at this time of year. They seem to like my foul weather gear, particularly. And if you look up at the rig when the sun is right, you can see it streaming hundreds of spider webs. That's gotta be slow.
