Wait... I'm confused about what happened here (I didn't sleep well last night and haven't seen any coffee; go easy on me). Were they riding on top of the truck/tarpaulin?? Or were they inside the truck and somehow got blown out when the tarpaulin blew off? Either way, the scenario is a bit disturbing...

I'm seeing two riders on a motorcycle that the tarp lands on

They were riding a motorcycle and the tarp fell on top of them as they were riding. The tarp completely enveloped the motorcycle and the guy driving. It looks like the tarp didn't quite cover the guy riding on the back of the bike.

Actually at first you only see the front wheel pop in on the left, only at the end when 2 people climb out of the tarp is it evident there must have been 2 on the moto

Damn! I wanna know who makes that guy's shirts! Mine would have been torn and bloody after that rotating slide...

Oh, I see that now. I didn't see the motorcycle at first, but now I can tell the motorcycle is under the tarpaulin as it slides. Man, they were lucky.

That takes me back to Dec 26 1984. Day one of boot camp. Bye bye hair. Mine was already kinda short. But some dudes coming in with hair halfway down the back were damn near crying after Day 1. :lol:

Ahem. I take it we forgot to put the guard on... Well, kid, guess it's a good time for your temporary monkship since you already look the part!

(Former partner and I once decided I would cut his hair at home since he just did a buzz cut. So we bought some clippers. I did the cut and we couldn't figure out why it looked so bad. He was livid {"OMG, Kat, I can't go to work looking like this, OMG, what am I going to do??"}. After examining the clippers, we discovered that the guard didn't always go on all the way unless you push really hard and make sure it's all the way on, so I'd been cutting his hair in two slightly different lengths all over his head {the clippers would clog up with hair, I'd take the guard off and clear it, and put it back-- sometimes it would go all the way back on, sometimes it would be a few mm from "all the way on" and I wouldn't realize because I'd just push it on until it stopped, without thinking I needed to check}. Once we knew this "quirk" it was smooth sailing and I just always looked carefully when replacing the guard, but he still never quite trusted me after that...)

He did not forget.
It fell off at the end of the first pass over the kid's head.

I think the gif glitched, because it took a couple times to see that part-- for me it started when he did the second pass. (I saw the supervisor pick it up off the floor, but I thought it was the kid's hair and almost expected him to try to put it back on... :roflmao:)

I know this is a fun topic to joke about, and I actually did this numerous times back when I owned and operated heavy trucks, but an acquaintance of mine was very badly injured doing this, and I never did it again.
I would strongly caution against trying this.

So many of these carjacking/road rage videos could go just that way. How many times have you watched a video where "the other guy" gets out of the car with a gun or a metal pipe, and the person with the dashcam just sits there and waits for them to come start bashing on their car/shooting. Hit the gas and get out of there! In some cases they wouldn't even have to run the person over to get away.
