help me replace my caad12
Hello all,
First post. After just one year of riding my beloved caad12 (cannondale) has bitten the dust following a crash. New frame is no longer available apparently. The obvious follow up, caad13, seems very different in design and styling (and I won't even begin with the appearance of the welds). Does anyone know if the handling is the same/similar to its predecessor the caad 12? Or, is the evo six (carbon) a wise choice for a fairly inexperienced (and clumsy) rider? Or can you suggest an alternative (in terms of handling) in the range of 2000 (could stretch this a wee bit). (I don't race, riding is just for fun, but I do enjoy pushing it in the corners...) thanks for your opinions john |
Clumsy and carbon does not seem like an auspicious match. If you like your Cannondale dealer a caad13 or Optimo would be an easy choice. To avoid over thinking it, might be best to see what is actually available in your size, work back from there.
