Show your Trek
Hello C & V,
I know many members here either own, or would like to own a vintage Trek. Even though I am Canadian, I have a soft spot for the early American-made steel. Without further adieu, Show your Trek! http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5134/...5483ebc9_b.jpg |

400, 1000, and 560
I rehabbed the 400 and 1000 and sold them. The new owners were excited to buy them. I'm presently rehabbing the 560 and intend to keep the bike for myself.

1980 Trek 412.
I recently upgraded to aero tektro brake levers, brown bar tape, and brown VO toe straps. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h1...sor/mytrek.jpg http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5206/...c3cbaceb_z.jpg |
Ooh these are beautiful bikes.
. Now I gotta get some better pics of my 1983 970 and 620. . |

It's not steel, but it's somewhat old. I doubt if this has more than a couple of hundred miles on it since new. It's too small for me, as you can see by the seat post height. The braking surface on the rims is still not even scuffed off.

Yes, that Trek is so sweet!
|
I flipped this 82 600 a few weeks ago. The buyer got a really sweet ride for a very good price.
(The seat tube TREK decal looks "too blue" because I replaced the one that a PO had buggered up with a bike lock.) http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/h...1983gray_4.jpg |
